QuikBILL updates
Installment plan changes for 2008
QuikBILL, the JMU electronic student billing system,
will manage student account installment payment
plans beginning with the fall 2008 semester.
JMU will no longer use Tuition Management Systems
for this service.
By incorporating the installment payment plan
into QuikBILL, students and authorized payers will
be able to coordinate the payment plan budget with
actual charges and any anticipated aid listed on the
account. This change should drastically reduce the
confusion and number of underpayments and overpayments
that have occurred in the past. The Quik-
BILL installment payment plan will be administered
by FACTS, a company owned by QuikBILL.
QuikBILL offers the
same benefits as
TMS, including:
■ Five monthly payments
for fall semester and five
monthly payments for
spring semester, if contracted
by the deadline.
■ Life insurance on any balance
of the contracted budget,
as of the date of death
of the “responsible party.”
Rockingham County area during
the break, it is important to know
that the off-campus adjudication
policy will still be in effect. This
policy covers alcohol, drug and
felony convictions as well as other
behaviors that negatively affect the
educational mission of the university.
This is a separate process
from the criminal system and could

confirm your budget and

the student’s JMU e-mail
